About Our Program
“A Dialogue on Prescription Drug Safety: Seeking Common Ground” is a new program that will examine efforts by public policymakers to enhance America’s prescription drug safety systems and reform the Food & Drug Administration.
Our program will include a series of forums where policymakers, health care experts, patient advocates and health industry leaders will explore the implications of the FDA Amendment Act of 2007. By bringing together diverse points of view, our program seeks to identify common ground on a complex public health issue and disseminate key findings to policymakers, health care organizations and the public.
In addition, our program offers a comprehensive online resource for the latest information on prescription drug safety, including expert commentary and analysis, relevant articles, and helpful links to a broad array of organizations dedicated to the protection of patient health and safety.
